Monday, September 15th

Today our class celebrated International Dot Day!  This special day is a global celebration of creativity and collaboration.  International Dot Day is named for the classic Peter H. Reynolds storybook The Dot.  Please click on "The Dot" link to view the book online.  This book shares the story of a teacher who reaches a reluctant student and encourages her to "make her mark."

In response to the book, we discussed how each of us shows our creativity and what we can do to "make our mark."  We followed our discussion by expressing ourselves through the use of "Dot Art!"  It was "Dot"tastic!
