Today we started our Words Their Way spelling program.  The main benefit of Words Their Way is that it differentiates instruction, allowing each child to work at their appropriate instructional level.  Tonight your child should cut out their words and "sort the words" into categories like the ones we did in class.  Please ask your child to read each word aloud during this activity.  Remember to keep the words sorts in a safe place as they will be needed for the other activitives this week.
