Happy Halloween Everyone!

The students had a great day of Halloween festivities.  They all looked amazing in their costumes.  Good job 3R!

After the parade in the gym, we came back to the classroom for our SPOOKTACULAR Halloween party!  The students had a lot of fun rotating through the different stations.  They especially enjoyed trying to eat donuts hanging from a string.......with no hands of course!  One of our students even made up a Halloween board game for the class to play.  Here is a picture of Mr. T demonstrating his expert cup stacking skills and another student playing a Halloween game on the smartboard.

We had so much fun racing each other to see who could wrap their partner into a mummy the fastest.  And of course, it isn't a party until you've played a game of Twister!

Some of the students also enjoyed carving pumpkins during the party.  We drew names at the end of the party and here are the lucky winners that got to take the pumpkins home.  Miss S got to take home these caramels for coming closest to guessing the correct number in the jar!

I would like to say a big THANK YOU to the parent volunteers for helping out with the party.  It was great to have you join in the fun!

The staff at RBES showed our school spirit by dressing up as a Word Wall.  How fitting for an elementary school!  We hope all of the students have a safe and Happy Halloween!
