During Daily 5 today we continued to build our reading stamina during Read to Self. We also focused on another comprehension strategy that involves backing up and rereading when you don't understand what you have just read.
In Math, our worked on an activity called "Math About Me." We brainstormed many different questions that we could ask each other that involved numbers as answers. Some of the questions included: How many people are in your family? What is your house number? How many pets do you have? Tomorrow we will use these answers in math sentences or equations.
