The students had such a great time swimming this week!
Global Citizens
As part of our Grade 3 Social Studies curriculum, the students are learning about Global Citizenship. "Global Citizenship" refers to a feeling of responsibility, beyond a country’s borders, toward humanity. We have been discussing how our actions might affect people elsewhere in the world, as well as in our own community. On Monday afternoon the Grade 3 classes participated in a "Global Citizen" project of their own by planting flowers and picking up garbage around the school. Thank you so much to Independent Grocers for graciously donating flowers for our project!
