We had a very short, but productive week in 3A!
Writing Workshop
This week the students completed their "Life in a Snow Globe" writing. The focus of the writing was to use vivid verbs and varying our sentence starters. The students used the chrome books to insert a snow globe template. They were then asked to draw their illustrations to go along with their writing.
The students did an amazing job of designing and creating their musical instruments. They loved presenting to the class and demonstrating how to change the volume and pitch on their instruments.

Math
This week in math the focus was solving e a variety of word problems involving addition and subtraction concepts
taught in this unit.
Science
The students did an amazing job of designing and creating their musical instruments. They loved presenting to the class and demonstrating how to change the volume and pitch on their instruments.
Before taking their instruments home, the students formed bands and enjoyed having a little "jam session!" It was so much fun!
Phys Ed
Mr. Larson set up "fun fitness" centres for the students to participate in.
